REFUGIO – A Woodsboro man was injured in a one-vehicle rollover Monday afternoon about a mile north of Refugio on U.S. Highway 77.
Jason Garza, 33, had non-life-threatening injuries and lacerations to his arm, according to witnesses at the scene.
At about 4:55 p.m., he was traveling south on U.S. Highway 77 when his red GMC pickup strayed off the inside southbound lane to the median.
Garza overcorrected, and his pickup went back across both southbound lanes and flipped over, landing upside down in the ditch.
Department of Public Safety troopers, Refugio County Sheriff’s Office, Refugio Police Department and the Refugio Volunteer Fire Department responded to the accident, as well as medics from the Refugio Memorial Hospital District.
