Mrs. Morin was born on April 8, 1951, in Sinton to Apolonio and Maria Ramirez Davila. She married Jose Luis Morin on Feb. 14, 2006, in Beeville and received her bachelors of science degree from Corpus Christi State University. She had retired from TDCJ Garza West Unit as a correctional officer after almost 13 years of service.
Survivors include her husband, Jose Luis Morin of Beeville; a daughter, Jessica Sabrina (Joker) Quintero of Beeville; a son, Dino Casella of Harker Heights; a brother, Apolonio Davila Jr. of Plano; five sisters, Lydia Romero and Lucy (Albert) Valenzuela, both of Sinton, Emma (Henry) Moreno of Aransas Pass, Adelita Martinez of Beeville and Corinna (Bruce) Cook of Topeka, Kan; seven grandchildren, Gage Powell, Tony Quintero, Diamond Quintero, Samantha Casella, Jolene Casella, Danielle Casella and Kristen Casella.
Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel.
The funeral service was conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Oak Park Memorial Chapel with Pastor Doyle Barnett officiating. Interment followed at the Quintero Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Gabriel Ocana, Gage Powell, Joey Morin, Pedro Pena, Jimmy Martinez and Joe Ray Martinez.
