Pro disc golfer Austin McNabb lets loose with a “putt” during his round on Saturday at the disc golf course in Beeville’s Veterans Memorial Park. “It’s a fun, simple course. It’s great for a small town course,” McNabb said. The one thing that the rain brought to the attention of all the competitors was that the course was in need of concrete tee boxes to avoid the muddy conditions when Beeville gets a little rain. The mud creates plenty of safety issues on the initial powerful “tee” shots on most holes.
