GOLIAD – A downed power line has caused a four-hour blackout over most of Goliad.

At approximately 3:45 a.m., the Goliad County Sheriff's Office received a call of a blown transformer and downed line at the intersection of Pearl and Temple streets.

The GCSO barricaded the intersection at approximately 7:30 a.m. as it waited for AEP personnel to repair the downed line.

The temperature in Goliad at 7:30 a.m. was 29 degrees.
