Noreen Higgins, 84, formerly of Beeville, died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012.

Mrs. Higgins was born Feb. 6, 1928, in Pawnee to William “Bill” and Ethel O’Neal. She was raised in Beeville and moved to Corpus Christi in 1950.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Tommy Higgins; a daughter, Linda Granberry; a son, Michael (Jeannie) Higgins; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, at Covenant Baptist Church, 7001 Williams Drive, Corpus Christi. Burial was private.
