On behalf of the Fall Festival Committee of Our Lady of Refuge Church we would like to thank everyone who came and participated in our Festival on Sunday, Oct. 28.

The Festival was a great success! The Italian Spaghetti dinner prepared under the direction of Tim White was excellent. Vickie Valentine, Donna Davis, Donna McMahon and Sharon Baugh were in charge of the Country Store and did a great job. The Costume Contest, run by Liz Shipp and Claire Baxter, was a big hit. Teri Ressman, Cindy Rose and their crew provided lots of fun for the kids with lots of new games at the Children’s Carnival.

The live and silent auctions were held in the auditorium with Barry Beuershausen and John Shipp serving as auctioneers. Boogie Barber and Janice Carroll were responsible for the auction this year. These ladies did a super job of organizing everything and we can’t thank them enough. We also want to thank all those people who donated items for the auction as well as the generous folks who bought things.

Gladys Knott, Joyce McGuill and others worked on the raffle with a total of 35 great prizes being offered. The exceptional prizes generated a lot of interest in the raffle this year. The drawing for the prizes was held at the close of the auction.

Again, thank you to all those who came and participated in the fun as well as the many volunteers who made it possible. We will do it again next year!
