The Pettus Lady Eagles did not make the volleyball playoffs this year but did place several players on the District 30-1A honors teams.

Senior Tori Garza was selected by the district’s coaches to the first team all-district squad. Second team all-district honors went to senior Sarah Gill, junior Jessica Stanley and freshman Chloe Garza.

Teammate Adriana DeLeon was named to the honorable mention list for the Lady Eagles. The academic all-district team was loaded with Lady Eagles. Marissa Carrizales, Adriana DeLeon, Alexandria DiMaggio, Chloe Garza, Tori Garza, Sarah Gill and Simona Ramirez all made the grades and were in good standing with their team and coach Erica Garza.

To make the distinguished elite academic team, the student/athletes must maintain a 90-plus average in the classroom along with their duties as an athlete.
