“I have had the privilege to coach these two young ladies for the past 6 years. Throughout these years they have always demonstrated the desire to be the best they can be,” said Lady Eagle track coach Erica Garza.
“Having now qualified for the 2012 UIL State Track Meet, is a satisfying experience.”
Coach Garza will be reliving some memories of her own in Austin and making some new ones with her daughter.
“For Savannah, it will be an honor for me as a coach to watch her run an event at Mike Meyers Stadium that I had ran. For Chloe, to be her coach and mother the honor is just as great to reach this accomplishment together,” said coach Garza.
