First United Methodist Church would like to thank the many supporters who contributed to the success of its second annual Fall Festival held Saturday, Oct. 20.
In addition to about 600 members and friends of FUMC Beeville who participated, enjoying the food, games, pumpkin patch, music and fellowship, we wish to recognize the City of Beeville, Beeville Fire Department, Goliad Fire Department, Lindscap Photography, Stone Creek Bar and Grill, the Gospel Truth and the FUMC Praise & Worship band.
Witnessing how much fun the community was having and how they were connecting with the church and one another is an awesome thing to discover. From that standpoint, our second annual Fall Festival was a phenomenal success.
There is a comfortableness the community at large seems to be experiencing around here now which I think gives testimony to the intentionality we have embarked upon to truly engage our brothers and sisters here.
The Fall Festival is becoming a great means of “kindness evangelism” in which the community feels welcome and invited to participate.
I heard many, many times how much fun everybody had and who knows what seeds have been/are being planted. To me, this is what the church should be about.
