Refugio Bobcat quarterback Travis Quintanilla was selected as the 2013 2A Built Ford Tough Texas High School Player of the Year Sunday, Feb. 9 at a banquet in Dallas.

Each year Ford reviews all of the players of the week in each class and selects one player per class to receive the top honor of player of the year.

All recipients of the Built Ford Tough Player of the week were invited to attend a banquet and awards ceremony in AT&T Stadium.

Quintanilla and his father made the journey to Dallas to accept the award.

In addition to the trophy, Quintanilla received a Cowboy’s jersey with his last name screen printed on the back.
