The eighth grade Refugio Lady Cat A and B teams have had a remarkable start to their volleyball season.

The Lady Cats have played Skidmore, Taft, and Odem and are now undefeated half-way through their season. Monday night the Odem Owlets traveled to Refugio and the Lady Cats split the win 26-24 and 25-11.

The eighth grade Lady Cat A team is undefeated in regular game play half-way through the season. These ladies started off with two home games.

Taft was the first home game with the Lady Cats winning two games 25-14 and 25-13.

The Lady Cats hosted Skidmore the next week winning 25-8 and 25-11.

The Lady Cats participated in the Tuloso-Midway tournament, bringing home fourth place. That next week the A team traveled to Skidmore to capture victory over the Skidmore Lady Cats in two games winning 25-11 and 25-23.

Monday night the Lady Cats again took on Odem Owlets and achieved another victory in two games 25-16 and 25-14.

The Lady Cat B team plays with a lot of heart and intensity. The ladies stomped Taft winning in two games 25-7 and 25-19. They also beat Skidmore 25-23 and 25-10. The Lady Cats then took on Odem Owlets beating them in two games 25-9 and 25-16.

The Lady Cats traveled to Skidmore last week to bring home another victory in two games 29-27 and 25-23.
