These free online webinars are held during the lunch hour (noon to 1 p.m.).

The next webinar, “Rainwater Harvesting for Wildlife,” will be held on Thursday, Aug. 16. This month’s presenter will be Billy Kniffen, Water Resource Specialist, Texas AgriLife Extension Service American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association Education Coordinator. The webinar will cover watershed and land stewardship, requirements of wildlife habitats, water demand of wildlife and birds, rainwater harvesting for bird baths, and water guzzlers including sizing and region specific potential for rainwater harvesting. Examples will also be given of devices and simple construction techniques for building your own watering device.
