Raymond Espinoza Jr., 81, a lifelong resident of Karnes City, died Nov. 16, 2012 in Karnes City.

He was born Aug. 16, 1931 in Karnes City to Ramon Espinoza Sr., and Ermilinda Guerrero Espinoza. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force serving as a Fire Chief. Raymond was a VFW member, and a former Karnes City Volunteer Fire Fighter.

Survivors include his wife Sybil Munoz Espinoza; sons, Carlos Espinoza, Michael Espinoza, Stephen Espinoza, and Ray Espinoza; step-son Raul Serenil; step-daughters Selina Davila and Sonia Rodriguez; sixteen grandchildren; sister Eva Rodriguez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers David and Albert Espinoza.

Visitation was held at 9 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012 at Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel in Karnes City with a funeral service at 3 p.m., Saturday. Funeral services conducted by David Camacho. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Rhodes Funeral Home.
