Robert Dale “Bob” Perkins
Mr. Perkins was born May 26, 1939, in Slaton to Samuel Ocie Perkins and Ethel Lorena (Thackerson) Perkins. He married Dorothy Reznik on April 15, 1961, and lived in Beeville from 1973 to 1998.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, of Boyd; sons, Chris (Laura) Perkins of Austin, Brad (Charlotte) Perkins of Liberty Hill and Danny Perkins of El Paso; a daughter, Paula (David) Nelson of Sinton; seven grandchildren; and a brother, Sid D. Perkins of Brownwood.
A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Cottonwood Cemetery in Dublin with burial to follow.
Arrangements were under the direction of Harrell Funeral Home, Dublin.
