Runge students placed in all region band

Two Runge High School students have been placed through an audition process into the TMEA All-Region 12 Concert Band.  The students are pictured:  Rachel Whittle, who is a senior, placed 1st chair French horn and Austin Caballero, who is also a senior, placed in the Alto Saxophone section.  The audition process was a one day event with students from all of Region 12 as far away as San Antonio competing for spots in the All-Region Band, from sizes of school ranging from 1-A to 3-A.  The performance of the All-Region Band took place Monday, Dec. 9 at Canyon Lake High School.
