Registration for Bark for Life Bee County 2012 will begin Sept. 1 at downtown Market Days from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bark For Life is a fund-raising event benefiting the American Cancer Society which gives participants and their canine companions the opportunity to come together with other dog lovers in the community and celebrate, honor and remember all who have been affected by cancer.

This year’s event will be held Saturday, Oct. 27, at Coastal Bend College. Early registration fee is $20 per dog with up to two dogs per participant. This year’s event will include a Survivor Lap; all area survivors are invited to attend and participate in the walk. There will also be dog contests, vendors, photo booths and much more.
