When Elbira Villarreal arrived at Hacienda Oaks Short Term Rehab, she was unable to stand, walk, or complete any activities of daily living without maximum assistance from our staff. Mrs Villarreal was determined to get stronger and worked hard with our Rehab Team to achieve her goal of going back home. On March 6, 2013 Mrs. Villarreal was able to return home independently! Irma Rodriguez arrived @ Hacienda Oaks Fast Track Rehabilitation Program January 10th 2013. Mrs Rodriguez was weak with poor endurance and required assistance with all activities of daily living. Dolores Reyes arrived at Hacienda Oaks Nursing & Rehab 10/1/12. Upon arrival, Mrs. Reyes was non-weight bearing and required maximum assistance with all Activities of Daily Living. Another Success Story at Hacienda Oaks!
Congratulations Louis Larose!
Mr. Larose arrived at Hacienda Oaks Nursing & Rehab October 26, 2012, from Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital. Upon arrival Mr. Larose was unable to stand, transfer himself, or walk without maximum assistance from our Rehab team. Mr. Larose was determined to get stronger and be back home for Thanksgiving! On Wednesday, November 21, 2012 he was able to return home to his wife transferring himself and walking with minimal assistance. Great Job! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! It was a pleasure having you in our Short Term Rehabilitation Program. We wish you the best of luck!

Congratulations Abelardo Hernandez! You have come a long way!
Abelardo Hernandez is an inspiration to all CVA patients! When Mr. Hernandez arrived at Hacienda Oaks Rehab Department on January 12th, 2012, he was unable to walk, or transfer at all due to a cardiovascular incident. He had total Left-Sided Weakness as well. Mr Hernandez knew it was a long road ahead, but never lost sight of getting better and returning home.
On November 15th 2012 Mr. Hernandez was able to return home transferring himself and walking with a hemi-walker! We are so happy for you Abelardo. We wish you a Very Happy Holiday Season home with your family.
Your hard work and determination paid off. You are truly an inspiration to others!

Celestina Bridge arrived at Hacienda Oaks Nursing & Rehab June 14th, 2012 after a short hospital stay with a fractured hip. Upon arrival Mrs. Bridge was unable to complete activities of daily living without maximum assistance from our staff. With a lot of hard work, Mrs. Bridge was able to return home to her family on October 10th, 2012, transferring independently and walking with minimal assistance! Great Job Mrs. Bridge! from Methodist Hospital in San Antonio. Upon arrival Ms. Vargas was weak and unable to transfer without maximum assist.
