“Kudos” to our local Animal Control Center. On Monday morning, Aug. 8, as our garden was being watered, two cute skunks strolled by, acting as if it was their turn for a drink. A frantic call was made to the animal control center and, within five minutes, Mr. Kielman and Lupe were here with a cage and, if needed, a gun in hand. Five minutes later, these two men departed with two dead skunks in a bag. So many times these guardians of our safety are not thanked publicly for their jobs well done.
With deep appreciation and gratitude for being so responsive and efficient, I do want to say “thank you.”
