Three Rivers choir students join in Del Mar College concert

Three Rivers High School students, Cami Hunter, Megan Darling, and Krissy Arnst along with their Choral Director Cindy Hessong attended the Del Mar All-State Choir Camp in Corpus Christi last week.

Over 75 students from across the state participated in the program. After an intense week of section practices and sight reading the young singers gave a spectacular performance on Thursday, July 2.

The concert began with George Frideric Handel piece: Coronation Anthem No. 2 followed by Buccinate in neomenia tuba by Giovanni Croce. Next was a German piece titled: Wie der Hirsch schreit (from Psalm 42) by Felix Mendelssohn. Other songs include: Sanctus from the Requiem, Abendlied, Cantate Domino, Pueri Hebraeorum and Ave Maria.

The concert was directed by Dennis Richardson; accompanist was Yvonne Jaggard.
