The Three Rivers Bulldogs missed an opportunity to defeat the Kenedy Lions after a hard fought game with the final score Lions 29, Bulldogs, 28.

At half time, the Lions were on top 7-6.

But the second half saw the Bulldogs regroup and battle to come on top. With 59 seconds left in the game, it was Bulldogs 28-21.

The Lions rallied with a touchdown with 26 seconds left in the game bringing the score to 28-27, Bulldogs. Kenedy ran the 2-point conversion to win the game, 29-28.
