Goliad junior Dalton Sturm was named to the first team of the All-District 30-2A basketball squad, which was released recently.

Goliad’s David Kelley was named Co-Coach of the Year with Palacios’ Trent Weixelman.

Goliad seniors Davis Ohrt and Jalen Moore were chosen to the second team.

Aransas Pass junior J.D. Gentry was selected Most Valuable Player. Aransas Pass senior Will Butler was chosen Offensive MVP and senior teammate Erik Johnson was named Defensive MVP.

Industrial freshman Brandon Alexander was named Newcomer of the Year.

Other first-team selections were Aransas Pass seniors Hunter Isom and Troy Trout, Edna junior Austin Sparks, Industrial junior Will Maraggia, Palacios seniors Gabriel Rojas and Kevin Brown, Refugio senior Logan Myers and Tidehaven junior Jaron Johnson.

Other second-team members were Aransas Pass sophomore Troy Galvan, Bloomington junior Kelsey Ortiz, Industrial junior Jay Rubio, Palacios senior Dylan Brune and Refugio seniors Brett Davis and Tevin Nash.
