MARION – The Goliad Tigers' District 30-2A playoff hopes are still alive despite Friday night's heartbreaking 27-23 loss to the Marion Bulldogs.

Goliad saw its 23-20 lead vanish with 1:28 left in the game when the Bulldogs scored on Raphael DeHoyos' 2-yard touchdown run.

Goliad must win Friday against San Antonio Brooks to clinch the district's fourth playoff spot.
