The Tilden FFA Chapter competed successfully in the Gateway District FFA Leadership Development Events held at Texas A&M University, Kingsville on Monday, Nov. 15.

All of the 10 district competition entries from the Tilden FFA Chapter have earned the right to advance to Area X FFA competition, which will be held Monday, Nov. 22nd at TAMUK.

Public Relations — first place, Ashely Lewis, Jasmyn Smith, and Amanda Flores.

Agricultural Issues Forum — first place, Allie Donnell, Hillary Gillin, Brandon Patterson, Mamie Shelton, Marshall Teal.

Senior Skills — first place, Shelby Reed, Jared Longan, Dylan Franklin.

Senior Creed Speaking — first place, Joseph Stanley.

Senior Quiz — first place, Brandon Patterson (High Point Individual), Thomas Arisola, eighth; Mamie Shelton, tenth; Kyle Engelking, Jessica Alaniz, Nolan Barnes, Michele McCartney, Harvey “Bubba” Franklin.

Job Interview — second place, Marshall Tea.l

Radio Broadcasting — first place, Allie Donnell, Hillary Gillin, Joseph Stanley.

Greenhand Skills Team — first place, Clay Atkinson, Joaquin Cavazos, Jimm Casas.

Greenhand Creed Speaking — second place, Heather Gillin.
