At 4:44 p.m., National Weather Service Doppler Radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado in the area 11 miles southeast of Goliad.
The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for the east-central part of Goliad County until 5:30 p.m.
Brumby said no damage had been reported.
