Offensive guard Tyler Byrd was named to the district’s first team for his play up front in the trenches for the Trojans. Placekicker Marcos Ulloa was a unanimous choice on the first team defense.
Two Trojans were named to the second team offense as fullback Tristan Pelitire and tight end Hunter Hardy were chosen by the coaches.
The second team all-district squad also sported two Trojans as defensive end Conrad Ruiz and linebacker Joey Granados were selected.
Trojans making the honorable mention list included quarterback Cameron Kremers, safety Tanner Treviño, wide receiver Joe Rey Garza, cornerback David Garcia, center Graham Traylor and defensive linemen Aric Gamez, Brent Puga and Dexter Durment.
Those student/athletes making the Academic All-District team included Mark Cook, Lucas Glew, Tony Gonzales, Hunter Hardy, Cameron Kremers, Brent Puga, Eric Rosales, Roger Salazar II, Ernest Suniga, Dillon Torres, Graham Traylor, Marcos Ulloa and Tevin Wilson.
To make this elite list, the student/athlete must be in good standing with the football team on the varsity level and must compile a 90 or better average in their classroom work.
