Beeville – Faith Lutheran Church will hold the third concert in their Summer Concert Series this Sunday, Aug. 11. Tucker Rackley will perform on Faith’s new outdoor stage at 7:30 p.m. This will be the second year that he has performed at one of the summer concerts. In addition being a member of the First Methodist Praise Band, “Forgiven” and helping to lead music at the monthly “Windmill” Emmaus Gatherings, the former Pettus Superintendent is also a songwriter and will unveil some of his songs during his Sunday performance. Many people familiar with Tucker’s singing and guitar playing may not know that he is also a talented songwriter and has written several Christian songs. He will be performing some of his original songs during his concert, so this promises to be a special evening of great Christian music and fellowship.
Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy the concert on Sunday evening. Free bottled water will be available for everyone. The concert location on the east side of the church gives cool evening breezes, even in the sweltering heat of August.
“It is hard to believe, but it has been pleasant at every single one of our concerts, even the ones in July and August,” said concert coordinator Jim Stevenson.
The summer concerts are held on the second Sunday of the month from June through September. Faith Lutheran is located at 1500 E FM 351, right next door to the new Stripes store on Hwy 181 and FM 351.
