There is no escape.  Nope, DV2 did not go on Spring Break because of the ever-present danger of CAT ZOMBIES!  After remaining in seclusion because of the feline pandemic, DV2 eventually succumbed to a force that could not be de-furred or de-feeted.  See photos for de-tail.
