Josie E. Moya, 56, of Three Rivers died Saturday, April 12, 2014, in a San Antonio hospital following a short illness.

Ms. Moya was born to Marcelo and Guadalupe (Garcia) Loza in Three Rivers on March 28, 1958.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Cenaida Garcia; and granddaughter, Trinity Leal.

Survivors include three sons, Marty (Delma) Moya of Beeville, Mario (Monica) Moya III and Steven (Fabianna) Moya, both of Three Rivers; four daughters, Kristy Moya, Lisa (Mike) Garcia, Sandi (Mike) Leal and Katherine (John) Evans, all of Three Rivers; five brothers, Paul Velasquez of Dallas, Fidel Loza of Austin, Abram (Oralia) Loza and Kenneth Loza, both of Three Rivers and Marcelo Loza Jr. of Corpus Christi; six sisters, Frances Loza and Mary (Joe) Chapa, both of Houston, Minnie (Gilbert) Villa of Falfurrias, Cheyenne Loza of Detroit Lakes, Minn., Peggy (Steve) Dickson of New London, Minn., and Jackie (Adam) Guerrero of Beeville; and 23 grandchildren.

Visitation was held Tuesday, April 15, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Roberson Funeral Home chapel in Three Rivers with a prayer service that evening at 7 o’clock.

Services will conclude after the prayer service.

Services were entrusted to Roberson Funeral Home of Three Rivers.
