Three Rivers Police Department’s Sergeant Clint Davis and Officer Ray Medrano visited the Three Rivers Branch Library’s Story Time Thursday to talk about safety. The two law enforcement officials covered seat belt safety and what to do in an emergency including dialing 911. After their presentation, Story Time participants walked outside and took a tour of a real cop car. Story Time program overseer Misty Sindt said she was grateful for the police visit to the library. “I think it was really great that we could get the Police Department of Three Rivers to stop by and talk to the kids,” Sindt said. “We made cop hats and badges for our craft for the visit, and the kids got to hear about safety.”
