Three Rivers loses to Shiner 35-14

The Three Rivers High School football team lost to Shiner 35-14 on Friday, Oct. 25.

The first quarter was a heated one with the Bulldogs scoring six points to Shiner's 14. But things cooled down in the second quarter and as both teams tapped into their defensive lines and prevented any points from being score.

Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, Shiner hopped into action in the third quarter, scoring 14 points while barring the Bulldogs from scoring.

The Bulldogs came back with a bite in the fourth quarter, outscoring Shiner eight points to Shiner's seven.

The Bulldogs are 1-2 in districts and 4-4 overall for the season.
