Rev. Larry McRorey of the First United Methodist Church, will speak about “Liverpool, London and Living Abroad” for the third lecture in the Margaret Moser Memorial Lenten Luncheon series this Tuesday, March 12, at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church. His daughter, Ann Elise, and his wife, Cathy, accompanied him for the British experience in ministry.
Lunch will be served by the women of First United Methodist Church from 11:30 until noon, with the program beginning by 12:05 and ending by 1 p.m. The cost is $7 per program.
Reservations should be made by calling the St. Philip’s office at 358-2730. Those missing the March 8 deadline may still make a reservation, if space is still available, by leaving a message on the answering machine or calling the church office before 10 a.m. on Monday morning, March 11. Those with reservations for the series will be automatically renewed.
McRorey, pastor of FUMC, will discuss his experience as probationer minister with the British Methodist Conference in Liverpool, England, from September 2005 to August 2006.
