The story takes place in Texas in 1987 just after the oil, gas, and uranium “bust.” People who had been used to living off their estates were finding that life was going to change for them if they didn’t get an oil lease.
The play need actors to fill the roles of four men ranging in age from 25-90 years old and nine woman ranging in age from 25-75 years old. Tryouts will be on June 5 and 6 at 6 p.m. at the Dobie West Theatre in George West. Actors will be asked to read selections from the script.
