The local area singing competition is open to the public and anyone 12 to 18 years of age can enter. Those with the highest scores at the auditions will then make their way to the finals at the Fusion Music Fest where guest celebrity judges will be on hand to give them some criticism and support to help them get on their path to becoming a professional singing superstar.
Each person who participates in the auditions will perform, either a capella, with music they bring or guitar, to a panel of three judges. Then they will each receive a call back if they’re one of the top 10 finalists to compete at the Fusion Music Fest on July 13 at the Bee County Expo Center.
From there the finalists will be judged and the top 10 will be cut to the top five and will get to perform one more song for the top three prizes.
The first place winner will receive a trophy, as well as recording time at ZMJ Studios, a professional photo shoot by Armando Musquez Photography, an appearance on Channel 3’s “Domingo Live” TV show, and be represented by “Cisneros Music Entertainment” at future events.
The Bee ’N Idol auditions are on Wednesday, June 12, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Saturday, June 15, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Kicker 106 Studio, 2300 S. Washington St. in Beeville.
You also can enter your audition online and get more information at www.Cisnerosmusic.com.
