BMA will no longer see patients after July 19, but clinic offices will be open until Oct. 1 for patients to obtain medical records and inquire about their options for medical care.
“The medical care of the Beeville community is very important to us, so we want to leave our patients in capable hands,” said Linda McKenna, vice president of CSMG. “We are considering potential options at this time to ensure healthcare services continue to be available to the Beeville community in the future.”
CSMG employees affected by this closure will be able to apply for open positions within the Christus Health and Christus Spohn Health System. Any associates displaced by the closure will be provided with a complete severance package.
Patients are being notified by letter next week of the closing. The letter will include information on obtaining medical records. Anyone requiring further information to connect with area physicians can call the 24/7 Christus HealthLine at 1-800-247-6574.
