I would like to compliment our Refugio Chamber of Commerce on its annual banquet this past Saturday evening, March 6, at the Expo Building at the fairgrounds.

There was an aura of excitement throughout the evening and there was never a dull moment. A lot of planning and work went into making this event special and memorable.

A big thank you goes to Lenny Anzaldua, chamber president, and the board of directors along with Chamber Manager, Juanita Freudiger and everyone who contributed to making this event a night to remember.

Congratulations to our top seniors from each corner of Refugio County, each with exceptional attributes.

Last, but not least, congratulations to our citizen of the year - Mr. Sidney Pullin and to those who were nominated - absolutely outstanding!

Thank you, Chamber and Refugio County folks for a memorable and special evening.
