The Shades of Seasons Garden Club in Runge has issued an invitation to all wishing to participate in their 25th and final Christmas Tree Forest, located at the Runge Public Library, 311 N. Helena St. The trees will be on display from Dec. 5 through Dec. 12.

Businesses, families, school classes and individuals may enter a decorated Christmas tree in the forest. Trees may be of any size, color, lighted or not with handmade decorations, purchased decorations or a mixture of each; however, there should be no food or candy on the trees. Trees are to be set up on Friday, Dec. 4, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Trees should be picked up after the event on Dec. 12 from 4 to 6 p.m. unless arrangements are previously made for set up and/or pick up. No trees should be picked up before 4 p.m.

A craft and bake sale also will be held on the opening day of the event, Dec. 5.

The trees will be on display from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Dec. 5, 2 to 4 p.m. on Dec. 6, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Dec. 7, 9 and 11, 2 to 6 p.m. on Dec. 8 and Dec. 10, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 12.
