GOLIAD — Early voting in Goliad County will end Friday at 5 p.m.

Goliad County voters can cast their early votes Friday until 5 p.m. at the Market Street Annex at 407 S. Market St. in Goliad.

Three local positions will be in play Tuesday as polls across Goliad County open at 7 a.m.

Goliad County Sheriff Kirby Brumby is seeking re-election on the Republican ticket. He is being contested by Democrat Paul San Miguel.

Democrat June Bethke and Republican Michelle Garcia are contending for the Goliad County tax assessor/collector position being vacated by Anna Lopez.

The Precinct 1 justice of the peace position is being contested between Democrat Jacqueline Peuttus and Republican Susan Moore.

Early voting numbers were not available by Monday’s deadline

Following are the Goliad County polling places that will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6:

• Precinct 11 - City Community Center, 450 S. Market St., Goliad;

• Precinct 12 - Fannin Methodist Church, 9852 U.S. Highway 59, Fannin;

• Precinct 21 - City Firehouse, 245 S. Chilton St., Goliad;

• Precinct 22 - County Precinct 2 Office, 23 South Saratoga Ave., Berclair;

• Precinct 31 - Goliad Church of Christ, 2770 State Highway 183, Goliad;

• Precinct 32 - Weesatche Community Center, 161 E. Farm-to-Market Road 884, Weesatche;

• Precinct 41 - Ander-Weser Volunteer Fire Department, 3306 E. Farm-to-Market Road 1961, Ander;

• Precinct 42 - St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 11547 Farm-to-Market Road 622, Schroeder;

• Precinct 43 - Coleto Creek Power Plant Construction Building, 4500 Farm-to-Market Road 2987, Fannin.
