The Goliad County 4-H Club is selling 9-1-1 signs.

This is not a fundraiser. This is a community service project. The first order will be placed mid-November.

Livestock judging meeting

There will be a livestock judging organizational meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 6 p.m. at the Goliad County Extension Office meeting room.

The meeting is being called by this year’s coach, Michael Dohmann and is called to see how much interest there is and how many contests participants may want to attend before district.

Members unable to make the meeting can call Dohmann at 361-564-8989 to let him know you are interested and to get more details.

Quilt project

A quilting demonstration and workshop will be held at the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Ander on Sunday, Nov. 25 from 2 to 5 p.m. For more information, contact Bethany Schoener at 645-1680.

Rifle project

Members interested in the rifle project can contact Nicole Friedrichs at 645-4865.

There will be a mandatory safety meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 18 at the Julie Wimberly Memorial Homemaking Building.
