The Goliad Tiger Junior League football team defeated the Gonzales Black 19-13 in overtime Saturday to reach the Crossroads Youth Football League Super Bowl.

Goliad will face either the Calhoun Gold at 3:45 p.m. in Saturday’s Super Bowl at Victoria's Patti Welder Stadium..

In other semifinal games Saturday, the Tigers lost to the Lavaca Rams 31-25 in the Senior League, Goliad fell to the Yoakum Blue 26-6 in the Sophomore League, and the Tigers were beaten by the Calhoun Gold 24-19 in the Freshman League.

Members of head coach Anthony Segura’s Junior League Tigers are Grant Garnett, Alex Salas, Cameron Morris, Hayden Tucker, Shaun Justice, Nick Pompa, Dylan Weise, Mason Towery, Tristan Rodriguez, Payton Luco, Zakery Guerra, Kadin Pinson, Katie Knopp, Gage Mendoza, Jaedon Segura, Jaydin Jones, Xavier Perry, Aden Barrientez, Lane Killen, Trey Castilla, coach Arthur Luco, coach Gordon Jones, coach Jay Perry, coach John Justice, coach Bryan Duval, and coach Allen Williams.
