It was a family reunion on Friday,March 29 when all the relatives of Hilbert H. Kopplin came together for the dedication of the Hilbert H. Kopplin Playground and Children’s Pavilion.

The master of ceremonies was Mayor James Liska, grandson of the late Hilbert H. Kopplin.

Live Oak County judge Jim Huff was the guest speaker and Reverend Norman Sulaica gave the prayer.

A brass plaque was unveiled and the park was officially opened. Right away children could be seen enjoying the new playground.
