Jesse S. Maldonado, 83, passed away on October 21, 2012. He was born on August 25, 1929, to Zaragoza and Celia (Sarabia) Maldonado in Mathis, TX. He married Artemisa Villanueva on November 23, 1950, in Beeville, TX. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Jesse retired after a 30-year career as manager for Beeville Coca Cola Company. He was a member of Church of Christ, Beeville Masonic Lodge #261, Jaycees, Beeville Police Reserve Officer, Beeville Volunteer Fire Department, Ambulance Service Volunteer, and was past president of Beeville Jr. Chamber of Commerce.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Zaragoza and Celia Maldonado and two sisters, Viola Rodriguez and Beatrice Campos.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Artemisa V. Maldonado of Beeville, TX; two sons, Hector J. (Gloria) Maldonado of Beeville, TX and Jesse O. (Becky) Maldonado of Pasadena, TX; four grandsons, Jesse O. Maldonado, Brandon J. (Leah) Maldonado, Austin J. Maldonado and Jeremy O. Maldonado; one granddaughter, Ashley C. Maldonado, three great-grandsons, Jayden Maldonado, Justin Maldonado and Holden Shaw; one brother, Joe E. Maldonado, numerous nieces and nephews and his six little buddies, Derrick, Regan, Shiloh, Matthew, Jackson and Jasiah.

Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service was held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Robert Bridge officiating. Interment followed at Beeville Memorial Park.

Serving as pallbearers were Brandon Maldonado, Austin Maldonado, Jesse Maldonado, Jeremy Maldonado, Jayden Maldonado and Ashley Maldonado. Honorary pallbearers were Ryan Sexton, Joe Maldonado, Jacky Mayberry, Reabo Mayberry and Leonard Robinson.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Exclusive Home Health for all their love and generous care. The special attention the nurses gave to Jesse and the compassion shown to Artemisa was especially appreciated.
