Josie was born on July 12, 1967 in Yorktown to Santiago Esparza, Jr. and Rosita Longoria Esparza.
Survivors include her husband, Elijio Jaramillo; mother, Rosita Esparza; children, Mark Anthony (Trisha) Esparza and Ashley Nicole Olivarez both of Runge; brothers, Michael (Delores) Esparza of Karnes City and Patrick (Mary Ann) Esparza of McAllen; step brothers, Adam and Angel Esparza of Nebraska; grandchildren, Aaron Olivarez, II, Paris Esparza, Aaliya Esparza, Mark Esparza, II, Kassidy Torres and Aariona Torres; and three nephews and one niece.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Runge.
Burial followed in the Runge Latin Cemetery.
