As we begin the first day of February, we at your Karnes City Community Chamber of Commerce are looking forward with even more anticipation and excitement to our yearly Annual Banquet, just a month away, on Saturday, March 2. And by now, we’re sure you have marked your calendars with plans to attend. It will be a fantastic, fun-filled evening when the Panna Maria Hall door is opened at 6 p.m. and throughout the evening until 11 p.m.
One of the reasons that it will be at the Panna Maria Hall this year is to provide more space for the Live Auction that is planned and the band, Cool Freddie & Friends, that will be entertaining. Along with the food and drinks, the annual Silent Auction and the presentation of our yearly awards, Business, Citizen and Organization of the Year, we cordially invite all of you to come by the Chamber Office to pick up tickets that will be $25.00 per person. You may also get tickets from any of our board members.
Also, we encourage your nominations for any or all of the categories for the awards to be given. And, if you would like to donate items for the Live or Silent Auctions, we would appreciate that as well.
In the meantime, have a great February and if we can help you in any way let us know. We are still welcoming new businesses to our area, increasing the opportunity for all to find help or assistance in many areas. One of the latest to come to Karnes City and our surrounding area is the Futurity First Insurance Group. As they join the chamber, they have said they want to be helpful members of our community. And that seems to be what makes our increasing growth in all areas so very wonderful. We are in this together! ‘Til next time, Cathy Passmore.
