Langley, Banack & Butler, a South Texas-based law firm, is holding an open house on Thursday, June 13, to celebrate the expansion of its Karnes City office. Langley, Banack & Butler’s South Texas office in Karnes City, along with its affiliate office in Carrizo Springs, continues to see an increase in demand for legal services as a direct result of activity in the Eagle Ford Shale region.
A recent University of Texas at San Antonio study indicated the economic impact of Eagle Ford Shale in South Texas for 2012 was $61 billion, and this impact is expected to increase in the coming years.
Langley, Banack & Butler’s practice areas include Oil & Gas, Real Estate, Estate Planning, Family Law, Tax Law, Businesses Services and Litigation. In addition, Langley, Banack & Butler is adding a new member to its legal team, Elizabeth Kopecki, a recent graduate of St. Mary’s University School of Law, to assist with growing business. Ms. Kopecki was in the top 2 percent of her law school class, served on the St. Mary’s Law Journal editorial board and was the recipient of the prestigious Buck J. Wynne Scholarship in the fall of 2012.
