Students at Kenedy Elementary culminated a cultural study by celebrating “All Saints Day” or “El Dia de Los Muertos” Nov. 2. Millons of people from Mexico and parts of Central and South America observe one of Latin America’s most popular holidays called El Dia de Los Muertos - The Day of the Dead. Students learned it is a special time for remembering loved ones who are no longer living. It is celebrated every year from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2. The students participated in activities for three days.
