George West traveled to Luling tonight in a matchup that decided the District 25 title.

The first half saw both teams trade scores throughout, including a 75-yard kickoff return by Hudson Wallace.

Luling scored on a long touchdown pass to grab the lead right before halftime, 24-20.

The second half saw the Longhorn defense rise up to make a couple of big plays that shut down the highly potent Eagle offense.

After a Luling fumble at midfield, George West took over.

The Longhorns then went ahead on a 65-yard touchdown by Bobby Torres, 32-24.

The Horns defense held the Eagles scoreless in the fourth quarter, bringing home a victory, and a District 15 title.

With the win, George West grabs a first-round bye as it advances into the playoffs.
