Max Vasquez, age 65, died Oct. 30, 2012. He was born on Feb. 24, 1947 to Francisco Vasquez and Elena Alvarez Vasquez in Corpus Christi. He married Rosalinda Gonzales on November 23, 1985 and resided in Vanderbilt. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War and was a Catholic.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Elena Vasquez and a sister, Elodia Ramirez.

Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, at Galloway & Sons Chapel in George West. A rosary was recited there that evening at 7 o’clock.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 2 p.m. in Galloway & Sons Chapel in George West.

He is survived by his wife Rosalinda Vasquez of Vanderbilt; two daughters Melissa Vasquez of Vanderbilt and Isabel Vasquez (Johnny Rodriguez) of Corpus Christi; three sons, Max Vasquez (Mari) of Corpus Christi, Manuel Vasquez (Carmen) of Dallas and Andrew Casas (Emily) of Beeville; two brothers, Frank Vasquez (Maria) of Corpus Christi and Richard Vasquez (Trinie) of Taft; 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
