WOODSBORO – Mildred Bunch Williams, 89,  died Oct. 2, 2012. She was a nurse for Dr. Arch C. Koontz for more than 30 years.

She was born Oct. 15, 1922, in Union Grove, Ala.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Wilda Bunch; husband Oran C. Williams; sister, Nellie Jo Hodges; one brother, LaVohn Bunch.

Survivors include her two sons, Donald Lynn Williams (Jonita) of Victoria and Ronald Scott Williams (Lisa) of Refugio; one brother Donald Bunch (Jeanette) of Blanconia; brother-in-law Jimmy Hodges (Betty) of Rockport; five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Pallbearers include Lee Riemenschneider, Jeff Rooke, David Riemenschneider, Robert Williams, Richard Williams, Ryan Williams, Shelby Williams and Jonathan Williams.

Visitation was held on Friday, Oct. 5,  from 6-8 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 6, at First Baptist Church of Woodsboro. Burial was in LaRosa Cemetery.
