The airfield, scheduled to be used by the new T-6B Texan, has had major surface repairs to the airfield and a new Fire Station built for future operations.
Captain David Edge-comb, NAS Commanding Officer will preside over the opening ceremonies and then guests will have the opportunity to view the Fire Station and a T-6 Texan on the airfield.
Guests are welcome to arrive at 10 a.m., and the ceremonies will close at noon.
