WOODSBORO – Robbi Leigh Chapman Hadden, 55, died Wednesday, May 21, 2014, in Houston.

Mrs. Chapman was born on May 4, 1959, in Refugio to Charles and Rhetha Chapman of Woodsboro.

After graduating from Woodsboro High in 1977, she married Tommy Hadden Jr. on Oct. 21, 1978.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years; her parents; in-laws, Tommy Sr. and Harolene Hadden, all of Woodsboro; two sons, Darik (Joanna) Hadden and Darin (Whitney) Hadden, all of Woodsboro; two brothers, Rocky (Ami) Chapman of Sugarland and John (Audrey) Chapman of D’Harris; five grandchildren, Teagan, Kyndal, Landree, Brittan and Zayne Hadden; one step-granddaughter, Mercedes Perez; and several nephews and a niece.

Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 23, at Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Refugio.

The funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Woodsboro with Carroll Borden officiating.

Graveside services were held at the LaRosa Cemetery in Woodsboro, followed by a luncheon for all family and friends at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.

Pallbearers were Jim Baugh, Bill Baugh, Jerry Friedrichs, William Borden, Edward Borden, Joel Hall, Johnny Naylor, John Shipp and John Wiginton.

In lieu of flowers make donations to your favorite charity, American Stroke Association, American Lung Association or the First Baptist Church of Woodsboro.
